"Integrative medicine" combines treatments from conventional medicine and ancient healing modalities for which there is high-quality evidence of safety and effectiveness.
Mind-body Medicine, Energy Medicine and Manipulative body-based practices are all part of ancient healing systems that arose long before convetional Western medicine:
- Ayurvedic Medicine of India includes Yoga and Doshas.
-Traditional Chinese Medicine uses herbs, acupuncture, Tuina massage and QiGong/tai chi.
- Shamanic healing of indigenous peoples utilizes drumming, dancing, singing, saging, and sweating.
Their work with human energy fields and have been in continuous practice for thousands of years.
This Integrated Healing Modalities Program is an excellent choice for Therapists, Nurses, Doctors and other health care professionals wishing to enrich the quality of their practice. This complementary health care, will teach you to combine physical health practices, with healing resources that move beyond physical.
